Tracking your order
Where to see courier updates, what to do when tracking stalls for 10+ business days, and when to open a dispute.
Every SA Fashion Mall order carries a status pill on the /my-orders page: Paid → In Progress → Shipped → Delivered → Released. The moment your seller books the parcel with a courier, they upload the tracking number and courier name, and you receive both an in-app notification and an email.
Where to find tracking
- Sign in and open /my-orders — every row shows the current status.
- Tap the order to expand — the tracking number, courier, and a direct link to the courier portal are all right there.
- Push notifications (if enabled) fire on every status change: booked → in transit → out for delivery → delivered.
Typical transit times
- Local (same province) — 1–2 business days for main-centre routes.
- National — 2–5 business days for main-centre routes; add 1–3 days for outlying areas.
- Load-shedding, courier strikes and public-holiday backlogs can add up to 3 business days.
When tracking goes silent
- 1–3 days of no movement — probably normal (weekend, load-shedding, depot transfer).
- 4–7 days — send a message to your seller through the order chat; they can call the courier faster than you can.
- 10+ business days — open a 'Never arrived' dispute. Escrow freezes and an admin investigates with the courier directly.
Confirm delivery ONLY once you have the parcel in-hand and are satisfied. If you're going away and can't inspect the delivery for a few days, don't confirm yet — SA Fashion Mall reviews unresolved orders manually, so the seller is not credited until an admin decides.
