The 3–8-image portfolio dropzone: sizing, ordering, and what customers see first.

Your portfolio is the top of your public tailor profile at /tailor/[your-slug]. It's what a customer sees before they read a single line of your bio. Treat it like a lookbook: curate hard, sequence for impact.

Uploading

Sign in to your tailor dashboard → Portfolio.
Drag 3–8 JPG / PNG / WEBP images into the dropzone (5MB each max).
Client-side compression targets 1600px long-edge at quality 0.8 — the delta shows next to each thumbnail.
Rearrange by tapping the left/right arrows on each thumbnail; delete with the × icon.

Sequencing for impact

Slot 1 — Your strongest 'hero' shot. Model or dress form. Full garment visible.
Slot 2 — Signature style. Something identifiable to you (unusual silhouette, custom embroidery, hallmark fabric).
Slots 3–5 — Range. Show breadth without diluting focus (evening + tailoring + traditional, for example).
Slots 6–8 — Detail shots. Construction, embellishment, close-ups. This is where craft-hunters spend time.

What NOT to upload

Moodboards or Pinterest scrapes.
Fabric swatches without garments.
Images with watermarks from another studio (removed on QC).
AI-generated model shots — content scanner flags these.

Portfolio images are stored on AWS S3 (encrypted at rest) and served via 15-minute signed URLs. The URLs refresh automatically — your gallery never breaks.
